I walked up to the nest site at 5:30 p.m. to check on the hawks ..... Ahhhhh, the female is sitting on the dead snag .... didn't have the camera, would she ever just sit there until I go back to the house to get it?
Yep, she stayed ..... 90 degrees out, so she is hot.
