very cool! This looks like toy I used to have, called Ministeck. Creating drawing by pinning little plastic things on a board. I could play with it for hours...

I do cross stitch as a hobby and use very small stitches, this looks just like that. I should photograph one of my images close up and show it to you. Great effect here, I love the colors as well.
