We had a relatively large crowd at Katestock 2008. The photo is from
behind the sound board looking east, the sunny side. The West Side is
heavily shaded. The areas flanking the stage and behind the board are
reserved for standees & dancers. The festival is energy self-sufficient,
powered by solar panels and food waste generators. The area is a natural
bowl with just the right slope, so the sound is neither lost nor echoed.
The sound crew is great, with an incredibly accurate output from a
demanding mix of instruments & voices.
