crumbling

Pueblo Bonito, Chaco Canyon, New Mexico

lot of travel in the last year, but plans for 2019 are crumbling...all the trips have taken a financial toll, and currently costs (groceries for example) are rising at an alarming rate...just two days ago an all time record was established for local gas prices, eclipsing the previous high set in LA in 2008...life is getting so expensive....am currently saving up to afford a walk around the block

Nikon D7000
Nikkor 18-200mm - 1/1000s f/11.0 at 29.0mm iso125 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

This reminds me of the work that I would find in magazines when I ws a kid. They made me interested in photography.
This is just a fantastic photograph.
Taxes, Car repair , health costs. Triple whammy when we are trying to plan a trip.I understand what you are saying.

Super composition and texture. I like this in monochrome. I hear you about the cost of living. Finances are crumbling for a lot of people. V.

Yes.....everything is ridiculously expensive.
The mood is fantastic and the composition is superb. V

A beautiful black and white! Yes, at our age prices keep going up and our income remains the same. Frustrating!

A beautiful image, Dave! It’s getting bad 6 weeks ago was $2 a gallon here, now it’s $2.60 an the set is going to impose an additional .20 gallon tax and the feds want to up it more this year, an I’m on a fixed income, not good at all.

Excellent capture of these ruins, and perfect in B&W. I know the feeling about everything getting more expensive...
Glenn Dean (Vatorman)07-Apr-2019 22:15
Perfect perspective David to convey 'city of ancients' - and B&W - gives it the extra 10%...

Very nice image, David! I would hope this is not left to deteriorate ..

I agree, this is superbly done, both the shooting and processing.

This is excellent in mono! It looks like an early 1900's or so National Geographic picture. Great POV as well. ~BV~
