sailing

once owned a Snipe, a sleek sailboat about 5m/15ft in length...what a treat it was too...unfortunately was forced to sell it, and its sailing club berth...the regrets are there to this day

the scene here is not local though, but rather Queen Charlotte Sound, approaching Picton, South Island, New Zealand, as seen from the ferry boat across Cook Strait

What a beautiful scene and excellent capture of it. For a moment I thought it was Marin County, just north of San Francisco, where I grew up. The only thing that didn't fit was the mountain to the right.
