Valley of Fire SP, Nevada

there was something distressingly familiar about the damp weather encountered during two full days here..at home in Vancouver these conditions are common...still, the thrill of being in the Southwest again outweighed any concerns about feeling a bit of a chill..it was January after all

Beautifully shot in itself and also with the weather conditions. This looks like weather I ran into when visiting Zion a number of years ago. Spectacular depth and atmosphere in this very well composed image David. Your really captured a dramatic mood in this shot. VVV
