sky pilot

near Squamish

the ongoing heat wave has meant the week off work has been a lazy one...eventually it was necessary to confront the conditions, and mount an expedition...a foray into the mountains seemed a good idea, although in the end it was no cooler there....this is the Sky Pilot suspension bridge, at the summit of the Sea To Sky Gondola, which provides a quick zip to altitude amid the Coast Mountains

My kind of scenery, David. Good job of exposing the distant peaks clearly. Fine mountain image. Vote.

Looks precariously suspended but a good climb to the cooler mountains. Expansive image nicely contrasted. V

A lovely view from the bridge but not an activity for one suffering from acrophobia...V
