I succumbed to the temptation of a readymade subject in order to test out the new toy...the Olympus Tough TG-3 is a compact, offering a range of shooting options...art effects and macro capabilities offer interesting photo choices, yet the fact that it is waterproof, or at least immersible to 15m, was a major draw...finally have a camera that can be used during Vancouver's long, wet winters...to check out the macro a marigold was a quick and easy choice...it doesn't look so sharp, and the DOF could be greater...still the early image does provide useful feedback
