Valley of the Gods was an eye-opener (there's a formation too which resembles a can-opener), a lot like Monument Valley without the fuss..an early morning here was also blustery, with fierce gusts spraying sand at us like shrapnel...a stirring experience all-told...focus, and excellent company, meant the mood remained buoyant throughout..
