despite cloudy weather moving in (this morning rain is falling fiercely). last night's brief visit here seemed peaceful enough...the irony though is that this artificial pathway is built on top of the effluent pipes from Vancouver's sewage treatment plant...you can see the rounded edges of the massive pipe...final outfall is several more kilometers out into the deep sea...supposedly waste emitted there is relatively benign and disperses quickly in ocean currents
