trolling the streets on a sub-zero night this restaurant looked a comforting refuge...even the disembodied loft would have been warmer than the sidewalk

the name here reminds me of a saying of a dear old aunt who lived in Lisburn, Northern Ireland..she once spoke of a good friend of hers, a warm-hearted soul, who nevertheless was not quick-witted and never seemed to get the humour of my aunt's often funny comments..of her friend she said 'you might as well play jigs to a milestone'...the Irish do have a way with words
