they will have the impact... i am from a country that was deep in the bottom.. but we broke all rules of power's elites.. we disobeyed all askings of IMF.. and we are at top economy now.... it deserved to protest! always!

Matt Johnson wrote a song back in the 80's called Heartland. The words are more relevant today but sadly, those in power continue to exploit the 99% for their own ends. Beneath the old iron bridges, across the victorian parks, & all the frightened people running home before dark, Past the Saturday morning cinema-- that lies crumbling to the ground, & the piss stinking shopping centre in the new side of town. I've come to smell the seasons change, & watch the city, as the sun goes down again. Demonstrations in 1968 had impact; these will have too. Ideas do not respect national borders or boundaries. These ideas are potent and carry the message of equity that if unheeded will require the tiniest minority of population to live in walled cities, every fearful. As with the 19th century English Reform Bills, British Parliamentary concessions averted the continental upheavals.

Sordid, is one was of putting it, and a good example is the State of California spending more money on incarcerating criminals than on education. Politicians, corporate greed and our dysfunctional system have failed us. I'm afraid these three crows may be the sunny side of the equation. "V"

at least here in the US, kids are buried in student loans and they can't find jobs...if they seem to be the majority (not all of course)of the protesters it's because they are........harsh times indeed....these sordid crows do not begin to illustrate the depth.....V
