Lytton

built in 1942….the house that is now the town museum was formerly a private residence…and is typical of the wooden homes found in Lytton, during summer the hottest place in British Columbia…on this day the temperature was 40°C…

on 1 July, 2021 the museum, along with 90% of Lytton structures, burned to the ground due to an out of control wildfire
