Saint Gwynno's Church, Llanwonno, Mountain Ash

This beautiful church dating from the 12th century, stands on a site that has been used for Christian worship since the 6th century, the earliest known grave is from 1167. The original building was restored in 1894 with a Gothic style by Miss Olive Talbot of Margam, the daughter of the iron master and industrialist Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot MP. The only other building nearby is the Brynfynnon Hotel.

I really like the perspective in which you have taken this shot,Gerwyn. A beautiful little church with so much character, surrounded by landscape. Voted.
Best wishes,Graeme.
