I totally agree with that claustrophobic feeling with privacy fences with being trapped, Eugene! That's why I'm really liking this design for a fence with the little cut out area between each fence post. The open feeling of this fence would be perfect for my front yard so that I can still see my neighborhood when I'm watering my garden. What kind of fence is this called again?

This is exactly the type of fence I want for my back yard. Privacy fences make me feel trapped. This design is much more open and inviting. The pink roses are a beautiful touch. I have tried to grow several rose bushes, but I guess I just don't have a green thumb.
