The Carpet Pythons from the Top End of Australia are largely arboreal creatures, sheltering in hollow trees and moving about
looking for warm-blooded prey during the evening. Occasionally they bask on roads, which does nothing to increase their life
expectancy. This specimen has been shooed off the road and will hopefully live to hunt another day. Approx 1.3 metres.
