After not being seen in Cradle Valley for 10 years, this frog seems to have somehow made a comeback. Not in big numbers, but
after hearing a male calling a few days previously I went out with a torch and managed to find a single recently metamorphised
juvenile. I was scratched, wet and cold, but very happy to see this species again in its type locality.
