Striped Burrowing frog, Cyclorana alboguttata

Near Yetman NSW

Striped burrowing frogs are voracious carnivores, eating just about any living animal they can get into their wide mouths. In this
regard they are little different from any other burrowing frogs, which consume vast quantities of insects following major rain
events. The striped pattern camouflages this frog as it hunts amongst flooded grasslands in search of prey or mates.
