Eastern Bearded dragon

Burrogorang Catchment, NSW Australia

The Eastern bearded dragon is one of a number of species of the genus Pogona inhabiting Australia. This specimen was found
basking on the stump of a fallen tree in a Cumberland Plain woodland community south west of Sydney. They are very charismatic
lizards but some individuals can be very aggressive. However, they prefer camouflage to confrontation.
