Black-headed Python Aspidites melanocephalus

Four Ways region, Qld

Unlike most other pythons, Black-headed Pythons feed primarily on other reptiles including some pretty powerful adversaries,
such as Yellow-spotted Monitors and Mulga Snakes, both powerful predators in their own right. This juvenile has got a long way to
go before it begins facing foes such as that. First it has to learn to stay off the road!
