Australia really is "The Land of the Lizard". From the windswept alpine heaths of south-west Tasmania to the deserts of the arid centre, lizards occupy nearly every niche available. I hope these photos will give some appreciation of the diversity of this amazing group of animals.

An amazing collection, particularly like the geckos; puts our six UK reptile species in perspective (and I havn't yet caught up with them with a camera to hand)
