An engineer and physicist by profession Roch Desrochers worked for CSST (Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail) where his expertise was used to protect Quebec workers from radiation accidents. In the course of his career he also worked with McGill University’s hospitals, and at the Université de Montréal, where he was responsible for the operation of the nuclear physics particle accelerator. Curious, tolerant, open-minded, he quips: “I have always been interested in learning. I am attracted to fields that I am more or less familiar with.” Now, as a student and moderator, he radiates knowledge.
