A composite of pictures taken on 9 November 2015 at Lac Chauvet, showing hightened activity of Taurid fireballs. The bright meteor reflecting in the lake is shown in its original frame, and an additional five meteors were added from their respective frames, their positions corrected as good as possible for the rotation of the Earth. The first meteor (the faint one at the top) occurred at 1:44 am local time, the final two (lowest in the sky) occured one minute apart around 3:56 am.
Also note the planets Venus (at the horizon), Mars and Jupiter at the left.
