My current setup.
No more dangling cables from the camera and telescope!
The only connection between mount and laptop are two USB cables (one for the mount, the other one for the built-in USB hub for focuser, camera and filter wheel).
The direct driven mount performs excellently in cooperation with its controlling PC software (Autoslew), eliminating the need for autoguiding.
The little device plugged into the laptop is my Garmin outdoor navigator, providing the exact coordinates and time for perfect tracking.
Remote control from indoor can be easily done with Remote Desktop and the in-house WLAN.
