Lance Cpl. Alexander S. Arredondo died Aug. 25 as result of enemy action in An Najaf, Iraq.
He was assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. Arredondo was from Randolph, Massachussets.
He was 20 years old at the time of his death.
