Winner - SPSP 2008 Astro-Imaging Competition: Widefield category
Published in Australian Sky & Telescope Magazine - July/August 2008 edition

The triple star at right is designated Rho Ophiuchus and is embedded in the blue reflection nebula IC 4604.
IC 4603 is the emission/reflection nebula at centre bottom and IC 4605 is another blue reflection
nebula to the left amidst the yellowish emission nebula that's lit by the star Antares.

NOTE: The scale of the "ORIGINAL" version has been reduced for display by approx 50%.

This is an LRGB (60,60,60,60 mins) with 15 min subs. Blended as L(R+G+B)RGB (ie raw luminance boosted by synthetic Luminance).
TOA-150 @ F5.5 (with 645 Super Reducer) on a Takahashi EM-400 with SBIG STL 11000M camera. FOV 2.4 x 1.6 degrees @ 2.25 arcsec/pixel.
