After the final collimation tweak I started an imaging project on NGC 6822 in between the clouds, rain and poor seeing. The weather didn't let me finish but I was able to finally confirm good collimation under good seeing conditions.
The full resolution “extremities” image above is from the edges of an STL frame and comprises only 2 x 15 minute mean combined luminance sub-exposures (apologies for the poor calibration, my darks need a refresh). In any case, the result is excellent and I think trying to improve on this would be difficult and probably pointless. On the night these exposures were taken, the seeing was very good, yielding an average FWHM across the frame of 1.9 arc seconds. There was no post processing of any kind done other than some stretching.
