The Barbican Centre's conservatory is great. In the middle of this concrete arts centre is the fantastic conservatory. I think it's only open on saturdays but they also open it for events and today we went for a private viewing at the art gallery ( I didn't really like the exhibition much although they had two macaws who were the stars of the show). Anyway - a nice place to wander with a glass of wine.
