There are so many fantastic photographers on PBase, I feel like I'm taking a distance learning course in photography and I feel honoured to be part of such a welcoming, friendly and generous crowd.

But this photo is a tribute to Whiskey01 who takes wonderful photos ... but I think there is magic involved because no matter how I tried I just couldn't manage to make this anything like this photo of Ron's.

Gail I am soo honoured!!! Thanks for the tribute, I LOL for this one! I think aside from the size of the whisk, you got it! You know, when I started a year ago, I felt the same way, and I still do! Just keep at it Gail, you mark my words, come this time next year, you will be much much better!

:) I saw this in the new review page and had to come see what you had to say.. I laughed at the wonderful sense of humor in this photo.. well done! There will always be plenty of photographers who seem 'better' but those are the ones who keep us inspired and in awe.. hope you keep on doing what you're doing.. good work!

As soon as I saw Ron's name in your text, I knew what photo you were talking about. I think we all have our own styles and I believe the key to good photography is being a free spirit.
