This was taken on The Strand just outside Charing Cross Station, from the top deck of the bus. I had planned to jump off at Trafalgar square because the fountains have been lit beautifully recently but hey....
There is another reason I wanted to get of at Trafalgar. You see I pass it every single working day so even when I'm walking through it I don't really notice it that much. However, recently I've been watching tourists in the evening as they climb up onto the lions to have their photos taken and I suddenly really want to do that. Perhaps I'll wait for my nephew to visit because I know that he'll be up for it. Watch out for that photo over the coming weeks and the photo that's bound to follow it from the hospital bed!
