These gentlemen are career employees at Mei Lai Wah. They have worked behind the counter for many years and are extremely camera-shy. However, during a rare lull in the afternoon, my daughter seized the chance to take a picture of them together, talking over their objections the entire time in their native Toisanese dialect. Fortunately, they both burst into big smiles for this one picture ... it was a very narrow window of opportunity.

The staff gathered around as my daughter presented hard copies of the picture a few minutes later. All of a sudden no one was camera-shy anymore. Now they ALL want her to take a picture of them!
