I am at the baker's who makes tandoor bread,
which is cooked in the underground oven outside.
You can bake that bread at home :
Here is the recipe.
Try it !
3 c white flour
1 /4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp superfine sugar
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 c yogurt
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lg. egg

Maybe you do not have an outdoor oven !
Follow those instructions .. and Bon Appetit !

Place flour in bowl, stir in dry ingred.
Add yogurt, oil, lightly beaten egg. Mix thoroughly. Knead about 5 min.
Cover, let stand in warm place at least 3 1/2 hrs. Divide into 6 even pieces.
Pull each piece into a triangle, then pull one corner to elongate. Moisten one side of eaac naan, placing the moist-side down in electric skillet @375° (or in hvy baking sheet).
Cook 2 min. Increase the heat slightly and cook a little more.
Remove to preheated broiler, allow tops to brown and bubble up.
