Boy, I'd love to visit Mt. St. Helens while I'm here. It's only two hours from Portland, Oregon. Mt. St. Helens in an active volcano located in the Cascade Range ~ Part of the Ring of Fire located along the Pacific Plate. Lately I hear it's been giving the locals quite a bit of excitement with small steam and ash eruptions almost every day.

Unfortunately, the weather doesn't look like it's going to cooperate this time. Guess I'll just have my photo taken by this sign instead.
