After a busy morning, we took a stroll thought the Portland Japanese Gardens. It is thought to be one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan. The gardens are situated in the West Hills of Portland, about 500 feet above sea level. The trees in the autumn put on quite a display of color.
