This is a fascinating and compelling image, but I'm not sure I understand the symbolism. (I don't know anything about Jon Thomas, so that doesn't help me.) Questions: Significance of a barefoot person, using a laptop, with a non-military weapon (i.e., shotgun), and the Statue of Liberty. Does this represent a terrorist, a freedom fighter of some sort, an American (without shoes?). I hope I'm not missing something obvious -- or maybe I'm just a little slow.
