I have several shots of this place posted, but today the sun just peaked out of the clouds before going behind some big rocks in the West.

While there, I heard a tour guide say that when this hole was created by nature there was a loud crash.
When the locals looked in the direction of the noise, there was billowing steam or smoke that lasted quite awhile.

Since it looked like the smoke or steam from a kitchen,
hence the name ...... that's the story anyway.
You could easily fit a full two story house in this hole, if you are trying to gauge it's size.
