I REALLY like almost everything about your photographs....the perspectives are awesome...the subject is well recorded....light is first rate....the only issue I see in your work is the colors are unnatural. for instance the foreground in bell rock sunset....after the colors come down to the foreground....I have never seen vivid raspberry red ground in any area around bell rock. Aside from color accuracy in a large (but not all) portion of your work, I think your work is absolutly outstanding. Roman

Unfortunately , I could not vote twice, but still what a wonder... I think you set unachievable benchmark for myself for composition, quality, colour, incredible eye and feel of the space, just name it... This is also even more remarkable considering that DSRLs require special feel for perspective which is extremely difficult to master... Bravo, and keep on posting !

Some I did nothing except a polaroid filter - especially the shots of Catherdral rocks cause I waited till the color went nuts mins before sunset. Other times I saturate a little bit as some people like it and others hate it :-0 "red sells" Thanks for the remarks and writing

Wonderful gallery. Do you do anything special to get that intense red in the pictures? I've been to Sedona and its red alright, but your pictures capture a very intense shade. Thanks for sharing.

-man- Thanks for all your kind words. Do come back to Sedona. Actually I have not seen that many rainbows, probably because I am not in Arizona in the Summer. Only Nov thru April and I think the monsoons from what I hear happen alot in August. Rain for an hour in mid afternoon - or something. Thanks again. Will go to you galleries next.

Hi, Fred. There are some gorgeous photos here as well as a very cool image, eg. the photo montage. Excellent work though I do wish they were presented in larger sizes for better viewing. I'm actually a little surprised you didn't catch more rainbows though. :-) I visited AZ for a couple weeks one summer about 10 years ago (before I got into photography), and I was amazed at how often rainbows would appear -- and often double rainbows too. But I guess that probably depends on the season, and in mid/late-July, the 3pm rain (and subsequent rainbows) came and passed like clockwork. Hmmm... Think I'll need to go visit AZ again one of these days now that I'm into photography. :-) Thanks for sharing... Kind regards, _Man_

James - your gallery looks like you are picking it up fast! I liked the flower closeups a lot. Last summer I did one of a dahlia (sp?) up close. The I heard that the League of NH Craftsmen was having a show where two artists would colaborate. I had been working with another league member that makes wooden jigsaw puzzels, ususally about 4 inches by 4 inches. But we did one for the show with my flower shot that is about 12" square, and 250 pieces that all look like the petals of the flower - a bear of a puzzle.
