22 March 2006

Am I the only one that sets out for the PAD with a vague idea, tries this and that setup, and then gets to photoshop and thinks "I wonder what that does? And that? And ..." this is what I end up with. At the moment I think it's kinda cool (even though it really looks nothing like a photo anymore). Let's see how I feel about this tomorrow morning - some time away from the computers is always a good way to change the perspective :)

For the technical details, I played around with the exposure / offset / gamma tool. That enhanced the not-perfect white balance and increased contrast, this image was quite flat to begin with. I then resized and applied the dry-bush filter with max detail and texture and minimum brush size. That's about it.

other sizes: small medium original auto

this looks good! I like the postprocessing you did!
I have the same with photography first I try something and then I do whatever pops up in my mind. the results ca be strange or cool or stupid (smile)

The postprocessing.... I try things when I have the time or when I think the photo is in normal state not 'that interesting'
