15 February 2006

A test shot for DPChallenge's "Duotone" challenge. Learned a lot about setup today. For the actual shot, I will clean the bottles (especially since it's basic editing, so no spot-editing of waterdrops or the like), but I wanted to test this out before I spent time cleaning the bottles, which I know is going to be a pain ....

Anyway, will be tweaking the set up a bit, and will be reading up on duotone. Be prepared to see a similar shot in the next couple of days .... :)

I like the lighting effect but can't help feeling confused by the slighly off horizontal line of the surface whilst the bottles appear vertical ... but then I'm a bugger for being finicky!

I do love the lighting though! The shot should do well over on DPC! Look forward to seeing what place you get! :)

I wish my test shots were this good! I love this, lighting and comp. are great. Would like to see this with a blueish or sepiaish duotone - sepia might give it a nice "old world" feel. Oh and the camera wasn't quite straight/square ;0) Hope you win!

Very nicely done! I'm not sure I agree with the center bottle being so centered between the others though.

Very nice! I might be sittin' that one out if this is what I'll be up against. ;-)
