09 February 2004

A colleague at work asked me to take photos of her jewelry (mainly pearls) for her website/business. I have never done this so I have two more evenings to figure this out. Panic! :) I like as little highlights as possible, so that's what I tried for tonight. My husband thinks it's too clinical, so I'll be experimenting some more tomorrow. Here's a photo of a necklace of mine. I kind of like the pearls even though the silver clasp is too dark. More experimentation required. Be prepared to see a few more jewelry shots in the next few days. And please let me know if you have any hints & tips or constructive feedback on what I am posting.

Thanks!

Oh, one more suggestion, you may want to gethttp://www.ezcube.com. You may not need it now but will be handy in the future. Price $75-$95 depending on the size. I’ve been bidding on ebay for the last week, I hope I win.
