Kilkenny City, Ireland.

This is a shot I took on Christmas morning.
But what makes this shot very special to me, is the River Nore.
And that is, that the river is completely frozen over.
Never in my lifetime or my parents lifetime has it been known for the river to freeze over like this.

Lovely light in this. The harbour in Dundalk was blocked with ice too. Much as I loved the snow I'm glad it's over.
