I Wondered About This Tractor

D300s-012810-404

I saw this old tractor in someone's front yard, no less. I have no idea what brand it is or what year it was made, but I would sure like to know.

Jack sent me this info - "Vern, Your find appears to be a 1926 Farmall Regular. (made by McCormick Deering). It was their first production tractor!" Thanks for letting me know, Jack.

It's a beauty, and yes, it does look like the one in Jack's picture.

Knowing the Tractor make and year, does this show our age or our search capabilities?

After looking some more, your find appears to be a 1926 Farmall Regular. (made by McCormic Deering). It was their first production tractor!
The one in my photo is a 1936 Farmall F-20

My husband confirms that it is a McCormick Deering Farmall. This model was introduced in the 1920's and built into the '30's.

I'm not sure of the actual model, but it is a Farmall. Here is a photo of one that has been restored.http://www.pbase.com/image/132837214

Vern, I think it's a McCormick Deering Farmall from the 1930s, nice find :-)
