You, no doubt, by now recognize what the subject of this photo is. It is a water puddle with oil in it. I was struck by the contrast in the image split by a shadow, but don't know if you affected the same way.

Well shot, Vern. I am fascinated, not only by the swirl of subtle colors, but also by the way surface tension works and holds back the water from filling in all the spaces. Good eye.
