This falls was the site of a cereal mill many years ago. There is nothing left of it except for a bit of concrete. It seems that this was the case in a number of places here in the Willamette Valley. Nothing much remains at those sites. Too bad some of these mills weren't preserved.
To see a still standing flour mill, I paid a visit to Thompson's Mill State Historic Site, where a flour mill was built in 1858, and sparked the building of the town of Boston (no longer in existence).
