Pretty Petals

Chubby

Ayutthaya, Thailand

This boy caught my attention for his chubbiness and prior taking his picture he was in the world of his own, turning around with a bag filled with sand. When I walked closer to take a picture of him, his parents called him to put up his four fingers. I have no idea what it means (hopefully something good)...he sure has a rather unsual expression!

Is he giving you the hand to stop or is he showing you he is only 4 ? Nice shot V

I like this Tricia.A problem I encounter daily,obese children.
Likely he has medical issues , especialy if his parents are small.
Unlike here in America(where the 4 would mean how many happy meals he had

I actually like the pudgy fingers, it goes to demonstrate your title. His expression looks quite forlorn though, I think he himself has no idea why he was asked to raise his hand!

Maybe he wanted to say " i'm 4 y.o" he he.
Excellent capture.

I think you could be right, Raymond! Most of them usually either show the 2 fingers - usually means USD2, sometimes the less greedy ones ask for USD1 with one finger. This was rather unusual! USD4...oh man...that's a lot of money for a shot.:D

He's asking you for money...he's telling you he's poor and starving little sweet child Tricia !
Gheez... this image reenforce my decision not to have kids... I've got the paternal instincts of a cactus... this image tells me it's a wise decision !
