The Seed

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I think this is a rubber tree seed. I found it lying on the ground of the park. It looked interesting with its skin texture resembling like a quail's egg. I took the opportunity to take a close up shot of this nut. I was told it can be eaten (!!) or used as objects for child play.

Yes, that is a rubber tree seed. When I was small I used to play with it. But, I never never never eat it.

Got the feeling that legs could pop out any moment now, and that a never seen kind of beatle is going to speed away!! :)
Good shot Flowsnow, with great soft coloured tones.

I like this a lot. I saw it in the thumbnail and asked myself "what is that?" Very interesting...sharp and nicely composed. A whole story of itself and yet so simple. Wonderful.
