December 15, 2005

We had an ice storm last night; ice and pine trees don't mix very well.
The electricity stayed on during the night, but around 6:00 AM this tree
fell and took out the power lines down the street from me. :( No electricity
for 7 hours!!

Wow, what a mess! Fortuantely, we didn't have to deal with any of this here in SW GA, but I do know what an inconvenience it is to be without power for such a duration. Well, at least you've got it back now, and came out with an interesting shot :)

a Good reason for underground powerline everywhere it snows. Sorry for the bandwagon I just have that every winter. Good detail.

Not an ice storm in N. Geaorgia ;) Looks like it shut things down a while.
