Such a wonderful portrait of mother and son, Faye. I certainly didn't know Melissa, but the way in which you've captured her here, she seemed to be a very happy, vibrant, and loving young woman. As you said in your tribute to her, a little boy (or any child) should not have to grow up without his mother. And it's sad to see this and know that Max will. Fortunately, he is surronded by very loving friends and family. I think this is one that should be printed, framed, and given to Max as he gets older as it will no doubt be a photo of he and his mother he will always cherish.
