January 4, 2005

I received a hilarious calendar for Christmas,
'Why Cats Paint'. So of course, I had to see if
Sofia had any artistic talent. :) This shot was
HARD to do!
An aside: I used to paint watercolors, but it's
been several years since I put brush to paper. The
paints in this shot are acrylics and I've done exactly
1 acrylic painting in my lifetime and swore never
to do another. I didn't realize how long it had been
since I painted until I set up this shot and many of
my wonderful watercolors were too dry to get any
paint out of the tubes. :( Maybe I need to get a
fresh set and start painting again.

Beautifully done. Not a bad painting for a cat.

This is fantastic! - how on earth do you get your cat to co-operate?
Guest 13-Jan-2005 23:27
There is no way my cat would have co-operated for this! Brilliant!!

Great composition!

This is great! Did the cat kick over the paint and turn itself pink afterward? I know mine would!http://www.pbase.com/wes_armour/image/34619606
