"Tradition" for the October Scavenger Hunt

I have been making calendars since 1996. The early versions featured some of my paintings (this one was titled "Dream Ships") and some family photos. I ordered calendar kits online and printed them myself. Needless to say, I only made a very limited number. Now, I use Lulu.com for printing and the quality is so much better.

Beautiful keepsakes. I also like to make calendars.

Very rewarding not to say beautiful!

One year in the 1980s I made a calendar made up of twelve prints given away by a magazine, and stuck them on, but the most difficult bit was handwriting all the dates neatly!

I've had calendars made for me now and then too. Maybe a good idea for gifts again this year

Only dogs can look like that. Cute cover for the calendar.

I always think about making a calendar for the year but never have gotten around to actually doing it.

My Dad makes calenders every year - he still prints his own despite us recommending use of a commercial internet printer. It's good to hear your experience of them is positive - I'll have another go at persuading him!

A great tradition you have started there. Thanks for the tip for lulu.com, I just opened an account.

What a charming calendar! Naturally I love the dog, but I really love the calendar's appearance!
